Belgian architect group Klaarchitectuur turns an old church into their new office, creating a juxtaposition between old and new

Many old buildings are repurposed to serve the needs of the community, which is why Belgian architect collective Klaarchitectuur converted  an old chapel into work spaces.

Located in the city of Sint-Truiden, the building offers renovated studio offices and event rooms for architects. According to the project's website, the idea was to create new perspectives on architecture through juxtaposition. The offices are stacked on top of the other so that every department has a distinct view of the original and renovated interior architecture. While the building does preserve its historical structure, the feeling inside has now transformed from one of worship to one of work.
