Pharrell wants to raise awareness for climate change with the creation of a new track that will release in 100 years

Music icon Pharrell Williams wants to urge his fans to care about climate change by partnering with cognac brand Louis XIII to create a song that will release in 100 years if we successfully mitigate climate change.

Louis XIII placed the song on a clay record made from the region where they make their cognac. To ensure no one cheats their way to listening to the track prior to tackling the problem, the clay record will remain in a safe that would destroy the track if it submerged in water. To raise awareness of this project, Louis XIII will go on an international tour discussing the issue in cities across the world.

If humans work harder at resolving climate change, the song will get released in November 2117. Due to the unique release date of the track, Williams titled the song ‘100 years’.
