August Home and Deliv tested their in-home delivery service with Walmart before opening it to all retailers

August Home and Deliv partnered to create an in-home delivery service that can place packages inside your door when you're not home. August provides smart home lock technology with camera views and remote unlock features, which are controlled by an app. Deliv is a fulfillment service working with 4,000 retailers and claiming a delivery footprint in line with Amazon Prime's Next Day delivery service.

The companies recently partnered with Walmart for a pilot program testing the August Access delivery service. Now they are opening the platform to all retailers that want to participate.

“In-home delivery provides an exciting new paradigm for shoppers, freeing up time while goods and groceries are safely and securely delivered inside the home,” Jason Johnson, CEO of August Home, said in a press release. “With Deliv, we are making August Access available to any retailer to offer their customers the option of secure in-home delivery.”
