Sonos wished Apple good luck on Twitter regarding the latter’s release of the its new HomePod connected speaker. A Spotify playlist entitled “Welcome to the Party” accompanied the tweet, with each song meant to express how Sonos feels about Apple’s entry into the home sound system market.

The song titles on the playlist spell out messages like “You’re crazy for this” and “Two is better than one,” and the mix ends with “We’re going to stay friends over everything.” While the HomePod puts Apple in direct competition with its brand, Sonos is clearly acknowledging that it needs to keep its enemies close. In fact, Sonos already relies on integration with Apple products in order to work for consumers who use them.
