Buzzfeed Created A Line of Cookware To Sell At Walmart
In its latest foray into branded products, the media company launched a line of Tasty kitchen tools exclusively at Walmart
Media company Buzzfeed has already made plenty of strides in the culinary field, from popular (and shoppable) recipe videos on Tasty to a customizable cookbook and even a hot plate. Now, the brand is releasing an official line of Tasty cookware to be sold at Walmart.
The collection consists of 90 items, including utensils, emoji cookie cutters, measuring cups and an 11-piece pot and pan set. The products themselves were made by Florida-based houseware manufacturer Epoca International, which is selling the goods to Buzzfeed at wholesale price. The line was developed by Buzzfeed Commerce, the company’s in-house product lab, as a means to further the Buzzfeed brand offline and diversify its revenue sources. The line is currently available online and in 4,000 of Walmart’s locations.
