The clothing and design brands worked together to create a special blue color for new apparel, with the proceeds going to Polar Bears International

Outerwear brand Canada Goose has had a 10-year partnership with Polar Bears International (PBI), a non-profit dedicated to preserving the polar bear. To celebrate this collaboration, the brand created a special edition line in a one-of-a-kind color for International Polar Bear Day. The new PBI Blue color was made in partnership with color company Pantone, and features special jackets, hoodies and hats. The items range from a $65 beanie to a $1,045 parka, with Canada Goose donating $50 to PBI for every jacket sold.

“With two-thirds of the world's polar bears living in Canada, we feel an innate responsibility to protect polar bears and their habitat,” said Dani Reiss, president and CEO of Canada Goose, in a statement. “We're grateful to The Pantone Color Institute for their help in bringing ‘PBI Blue' to life and shining attention on this important global issue.”
