Knorr's EatYourFeed tool scans a person's Instagram photos to suggest personalized recipes based on things they've shared

Food and beverage brand Knorr is looking for new ways to serve up inspirational dishes with the recent launch of an AI tool designed to turn people’s memories into actual meals. Called EatYourFeed, the AI scans a person’s Instagram feed to recognize key indicators of taste and ingredients, and uses that info to match it up with the brand’s own recipe database. What the user gets back is meant to be a personalized list of recipes based on their individual preferences.

At the core of this tech is a visual recognition algorithm, developed by digital creative agency AnalogFolk. If the algorithm works as planned, Knorr hopes that the recipes suggested will prompt users to fondly recollect past experiences and adventures, and form a sentimental connection with the recipes and the brand.
