Renault Retail Concept Educates Consumers About Electric Vehicles

Visitors can learn about, test drive and buy an EV at Renault's first Electric Vehicle Experience Center in Sweden

Renault is experimenting with a new physical store format that focuses attention on electric vehicles. The first Renault Electric Vehicle Experience Center opened in Täby Centrum, one of Stockholm’s largest suburban shopping centers. The store aims to familiarize people with electric mobility advancements and introduce purchasing options that could suit their particular lifestyle needs.

The interior comprises a number of zones organized around an electric vehicle display gallery. Information relating to charging infrastructure, local legislation, subsidies and electric-vehicle-related services is presented in interactive displays on the perimeter walls.

The store functions as more than a place for people to browse. Test drives can be conducted on site, and Renault advisors will assist customers looking to order an electric vehicle directly from the store. An advanced digital experience was developed specifically for the store that includes an exclusive electric car configurator to tailor an EV model to a person’s needs and tastes.

Renault plans on opening similar Electric Vehicle Experience Centers in other cities across Europe.
