An Italian bath fixtures company released a new sink collection that has the look of vintage turntables with a hidden wireless speaker inside

Olympia Ceramica is dropping the beat on a new collection of DJ-inspired sinks. Vinyl is a series of wash basins designed by Gianluca Paludi, set to debut at the 2018 Milan Furniture Fair.

The functional fixtures mimic the look of vinyl turntables. Faucets resemble tone arms while sink basins take on the look of record platters with simulated slabs of wax as their base. Vinyl isn't just about replicating the look of the analog music playing devices, however: Hidden inside each base cabinet are speakers that can play music through a bluetooth connection.

Also part of the Vinyl collection is a mirrored panel with LED lights that simulate a graphic equalizer. Overall, this clever collection highlights the intersection of functionality and creativity.
