Sorry I Have No Filter merchandise sports feminist messages and helps fund an initiative to foster women leaders in design and other industries

NYC-based design agency Sagmeister & Walsh is using design to support creative women with its new online store, Sorry I Have No Filter. The merchandise ranges from shirts, jackets, to posters and iPhone cases sporting lines such as “Perfection is Boring” and “Rise and Slay.” All proceeds go towards Ladies, Wine & Design, an initiative created by Jessica Walsh two years ago to foster women in the creative industry. Walsh realized that many of the mean-spirited and sexist comments she was receiving for her work came from other women, and she decided to create a supportive environment through mentorship circles, portfolio reviews, talks and creative meetups.

Ladies, Wine & Design addresses a large concern: the very small percentage of women in leadership positions, including creative directors. The program has chapters in over 180 cities and holds free groups and talks worldwide. “We believe now more than ever, women need to come together, support each other, and foster healthy relationships,” reads the Sorry I Have No Filter website.
