To help guests maintain wellness routines while traveling, Mandarin Oriental is delivering meditation and workout videos to rooms and suites across global locations

A partnership between Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and on-demand wellness video platform Grokker provides health and fitness programs for travelers in the privacy of their rooms. This new amenity addresses an increasingly dominant trend that sees travel brands integrating wellness into their offerings.

“It can be difficult to maintain a wellness routine while traveling,” Jeremy McCarthy, director of spa and wellness for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, said in a press release. “Thanks to our collaboration with Grokker, we can now deliver extended wellness expertise and activities that our guests can easily access from the comfort of their room or suite.”

Videos guide guests in meditation, workouts, Pilates and yoga, including a bedtime yoga routine to encourage better sleep. The new videos are already available in Mandarin Oriental’s hotels in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Shanghai, Singapore, Boston, Miami, New York, Washington, Geneva, London, Paris and Prague, with other locations scheduled to adopt them throughout 2018.
