Cadillac’s Subscription Service Provides Members On-Demand Delivery And Up To 18 Swaps Per Year
Book by Cadillac is a plan that offers approved members concierge home-delivery and a plethora of auto options and amenities, all accessible through the service's app
Car manufacturers are facing a bit of a crisis: Many consumers are moving away from buying cars as some find services like Lyft and Uber more convenient and less expensive. To gain competitive edge in a changing marketplace, Cadillac is offering a subscription service called Book, with amenities like changing out cars up to 18 times in a year.
Volvo and BMW also provide similar subscription car plans, Cadillac’s falling in the middle of the two options. The Volvo plan is less expensive, but the user can only change out their car once every two years. BMW’s Access has two options, both more expensive than Book, but with unlimited car change outs. Each of the plans include insurance and maintenance.
After downloading the app and applying for membership to the Book service, users can select the vehicle they like best and have it delivered directly to them. The package, which costs up to $1800 per month, allows users to select from a number of Cadillac’s premium cars and includes services like On-Star, Sirius XM and a Wi-Fi Hotspot. Users can cancel or renew at any time.
Book ultimately provides greater options and personalization as well as easy app access and concierge delivery, allowing Cadillac to cater to consumer demands for flexibility and on-demand service.
