The landmark deli is offering a multi-plan service to fans of its food worldwide, proving that even a 130-year-old establishment can stay relevant and keep up with modern consumer demands

Every day, tourists and locals alike flock to New York's Katz's Delicatessen for its famous pastrami sandwiches. The locals have always been able to get their fix either by visiting or having the food delivered, but now out-of-towners can have the deli meat shipped straight to their doors.

The 130-year-old deli has recently announced a subscription plan that will ship goods from their restaurant to worldwide locations. Subscribers can opt for plans beginning at the $150 basic package all the way to the $9,995 Platinum Ticket VIP Experience which includes pastrami for 150 people as well as two professional meat carvers.

While monthly subscription models are not new, the Katz's model is particularly interesting because so many of its customers come from out of town. The type of pastrami served at Katz's Deli is not readily available in other parts of the country, so this offer is a creative way for vacationers to relieve a memorable part of their trip on a monthly basis.
