Shopify App Streamlines Communications For Its Merchants
Shopify Ping is available for free for all markets, and houses apps like Facebook Messenger and Chatkit under one digital roof, ultimately helping merchants more efficiently connect with their consumers
The e-commerce platform provider Shopify released a free mobile app that blends messaging apps for companies. Known as Shopify Ping, this new application moves communication apps like Facebook Messenger and Chatkit into one location to lessen the task of connecting with customers, build relationships and shorten response times on social media, email and online storefronts.

To make the process easier, Shopify Ping provides users a free virtual assistant named Kit. The assistant aids with creating and conducting marketing activities through a conversational interface. The app is also programmed to run social media ads, email blasts and other retargeting campaigns.
The app was developed in response to the customers Shopify serves, aiming to help brands serve and target their consumers more efficiently and simply. The service provides multichannel commerce platforms for over 600,000 business, including Snapchat and Instagram. This past March, the company collaborated with Google Pay to offer faster checkout processes for users. Shopify Ping is currently available on the iOS App Store.
