Enthusiasts of the frozen treat can taste exclusive flavors at a multi-sensory Museum of Ice Cream concept shop sponsored by the retailer

Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) partnered with mega-retailer Target to open “The Pint Shop,” a pop-up ice cream store in New York City. Guests this summer will be greeted with interactive installations and ice cream tastings of MOIC’s own brand of flavors, which include Chocolate Crush and Nana Bread. A reservation-only tasting experience teaches visitors about ice cream making through sensory storytelling. The collaboration also includes the launch of Target’s Art Class line of themed children’s apparel and accessories.

For Target, involvement in the MOIC pop-up drums up interest in the ice cream brand and merchandise while hooking the museum’s younger consumers both online and off. According to Food Dive, The Pint Shop’s Instagram racked up 14,000 followers in only a week’s timeframe.

The Pint Shop is currently open in NYC’s Meatpacking District. Seven MOIC ice cream flavors will be available exclusively at Target stores around the country beginning in July.
