The retailer is tapping into the wellness trend with the incorporation of shops carrying nutritional goods and supplements into a dozen of already established locations, helping raise its intrigue for today's health-conscious consumers

Anthropologie, the apparel and home goods retailer adored by quirky shoppers and Instagram addicts alike, is expanding its appeal by adding wellness shops to a dozen select locations. After success in its test market at Palo Alto, California, the retailer decided to bring Wellness by Anthropologie accross the country.

The shop will be an add-on to established Anthropologie locations and will offer a variety of wellness products, including nutritional goods such as beverages and supplements, essential oils, crystals and even stationary. Wellness by Anthropologie will be added to several other California locations as well as Oregon, Arizona, Illinois, Washington D.C. and Connecticut.

Anthropologie has a conscious client base, something the company is very aware of, and is hoping to cater these consumers with its wellness additions. Rather than reinvent itself as a wellness brand, the retailer is expanding its appeal to current as well as potentially new wellness-conscious consumers, fitting into the trend of brands moving to incorporate healthy-living inventory and resources into their current offerings.
