The chain pharmacy's MinuteClinic is integrating services from Buoy Health to offer more efficient, on-demand patient care, providing customers at-home assistance by way of an AI assistant

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is taking steps to give patients a fuller healthcare experience thanks to its partnership with Buoy Health. The latter is a tech company that specializes in the development of tools to help people get the care they need from the moment of diagnosis, and will now be integrated in to MinuteClinic’s over 1,000 locations.

With the use of Buoy Health’s AI in conjunction with a brick-and-mortar establishment, patients will have better access to affordable and accurate care. By simply logging on to www.buoyhealth.com, patients will be run through a series of questions and then put in contact with a local MinuteClinic if on-site treatment is required.

Given that shoppers today have a greater array of choices, brands like CVS are investing in services that can eliminate choice fatigue and boost shopper confidence before making a purchase. As detailed in PSFK’s recently released Shopper Marketing Debrief, AI systems like the ones offered by Buoy Health are especially useful to consumers in curating recommendations as well as simplifying often burdensome or time-consuming on-boarding procedures.

Healthcare is an ever changing market, and CVS is making waves of its own with this partnership. Integrating Buoy Health’s capabilities into CVS’s MinuteClinic allows the service to act as an on-demand resource to communities across the country, streamlining the path to care for consumers by expediting the on-boarding process as well as curating the most relevant options. For more information on how various brands are streamlining their services to better guide consumers down the path to purchase or service, see PSFK’s recently launched Shopper Marketing Debrief.
