DHL Is Offering New Yorkers Free Zero-Emission Rides
The delivery company's eco-friendly ride service is the result of its partnership with Formula E to promote e-mobility in big cities, accessible to users through the DHL Mobility Quest app
From July 11-13, residents of New York City can take eShuttles through DHL to designated locations while generating zero emissions. DHL will have a convoy of over a dozen Nissan Leafs to shuttle people to and fro for free during this week.
This eco-friendly ride service can be accessed through the DHL Mobility Quest app. The ride service is the product of the partnership between DHL and Formula E, all to promote e-mobility in big cities.
This service, although available only for a limited time, is a partnership that looks toward the future. Though this initiative is coming to a city where public and shared transportation is already a way of life, the green element stands out. By enlisting the use of completely emission-free vehicles as well as making the rides easy to access and free of charge, DHL is not only raising awareness about pollution, but also promoting a new generation of public transportation.
