In Brief

HyreCar and DriveItAway joined forces to help auto dealers break into the shared-mobility market, allowing them to post their cars on the HyreCar platform for prospective Uber or Lyft drivers to purchase

With car-loaning services like Turo and auto brands releasing subscription programs, the shared-mobility market has increased exponentially, along with demand for these offers. Now, thanks to a partnership between companies HyreCar and DriveItAway, users can purchase a car for Uber and Lyft from car dealers through renting or payment plans.

Dealers in 34 states can list their cars sale on the HyreCar platform, allowing Lyft and Uber driver hopefuls to take advantage of the renting service as well as DriveItAway’s payment plans like “Lyft Your Down Payment” and “Drive For Your Down Payment.”

This way, car dealers generate an additional revenue stream, as well as more vehicle sales, while ridesharing-app employees have wider access to vehicles and resources. “This partnership underscores our mission to building roads to financial freedom,” said Joe Furnari, Chief Executive Officer of HyreCar. “We are focused on creating strategic alliances that expand our supply of vehicles, which will provide us with the infrastructure to scale. We are excited to become the franchise solution for vehicle suppliers who want to tap into the growing mobility industry.”
