User-generated data on the auto brand's mobile app demonstrates how purchasing a Jaguar I-PACE allows consumers to cut down on driving costs, helping build customer confidence in buying EV

Luxury automakerJaguar recently launched its Go I-PACE app that allows consumers to track their driving journeys and calculate the potential cost-savings of purchasing an EV. Drivers can track the amount of battery used and how many charges their I-PACE would need using their data. 

Accordingly, with this information, consumers can understand the direct economic benefit the I-PACE offers them. Once enough drivers have used the app, potential buyers will be able to accurately estimate the driving range they can expect from a full charge. Additionally, to resolve a common consumer pain point, running low gas mileage, Jaguar’s I-PACE app provides users with an interactive map that allows drivers to search for nearest charging stations along their chosen routes or in the local area.

The vehicle line director at Jaguar I-Pace Ian Hoban explained the concept behind the app, saying, “Making the switch to EV ownership is a big decision. We’re confident anyone who experiences the I-PACE will relish its engaging driving dynamics, performance, practicality and comfort. What a test drive doesn’t show is the lower running costs and convenience of living with our electric performance SUV on a daily basis. The Go I-PACE app is designed to help potential customers make an informed decision.”

By allowing potential buyers to experience I-PACE in the pre-purchase phase of the customer journey, Jaguar builds consumer confidence. The app enables customers to not only understand but uncover their current driving pain points. Through the educational and interactive experience the app provides, Jaguar enables consumers to more easily understand the value of the brand’s new product offering.
