Macy’s Exclusive SmileDirectClub Kits Let Customers Makeover Their Own Smiles
Exclusive to Macy's shoppers, the impression kits are overnighted so users can build individualized molds and plans with orthodontists, giving consumers easier access to the tools they need to customize their smile
Teeth straightening and whitening is becoming more accessible thanks to a partnership between SmileDirectClub and Macy’s. SmileDirectClub, makers of invisible smile alignment and whitening kits, partnered with Macy’s for an exclusive launch of its new Smile Kits.
Priced at $79, the Smile Kit includes a dental impression tray, putty to make the impression and an LED accelerator to help speed up teeth whitening. Once SmileDirectClub receives a set of impressions, the service creates a smile plan that customers can review with a dentist or orthodontist and begin production on the invisible aligners that will help straighten the individual’s smile over the next six months.
Once relegated to the realm of the dentist’s office, teeth straightening and whitening has become an off-the-shelf service, making the partnership a natural fit for Macy’s and its existing beauty products. The new kits are exclusive to Macy’s and already available in over 100 stores nationwide, putting the power to enhance one’s smile into the hands of consumers.
