In Brief

The retailer is bringing its philanthropic mission and designer inventory to a Nantucket shop this summer, providing customers with exclusive events, trunk shows and an experiential suite

Philanthropic fashion brand that previously only lived online Olivela will now have a physical location in Nantucket, Massachusetts. The brick-and-mortar pop-up shop will be open from June to October and will donate sale profits to charitable organizations that include Malala Fund, Too Young to Wed and CARE.

The Nantucket store is the first of the fifteen locations Olivela plans to open throughout 2019. It will offer a selection of women’s accessories, clothing and beauty items from luxury designers in addition to hosting trunk shows and private events on a weekly basis.

The store also offers an interactive element with its Experience Suite, which allows customers the chance to learn more about the causes that their purchases are supporting. While the brand is already offering a high-end product with a charitable purpose, now Olivela is giving customers a chance to harness a better understanding of the help they are providing, potentially encouraging contribution through heightened connection and engagement.
