BMW Partners With Pop-Up Hotel To Provide Guests With Shuttle Service
The automaker's latest brand activation involves offering a BMW i3 shuttle that provides a luxurious and sustainable transportation option for those staying at Munich's Lovelace hotel, which also doubles as a meeting forum for BMW employees
BMW teamed up with the pop-up hotel The Lovelace to provide a stylish and environmentally friendly place to stay in the heart of Munich. The hotel is a combination of creative and business spaces with a cultural center, stage and a forum.
Guests can stay in one of thirty individually designed rooms housed in a building that dates back to 1893. The Lovelace was the former Bavarian State Bank and is redesigned with a new, elaborate interior. Conversely, BMW employees can use the space’s meeting rooms to conduct conferences, which is in line with hotel’s ethos: to serve simultaneously as an inspiration space and forum.
Because of the hotel’s location, guests staying at The Lovelace will have access to the German city’s cafes, bars and pop-up shops. When clients need a ride to get to and from the airport, guests can take the BMW i3 shuttle service. The vehicle is designed with special body wrapping that allows it to run on electricity, which reduces carbon dioxide emissions. The wrapping on the BMW i3 is also decorated with a message of how the car this helping the environment, alongside ways to improve air quality.
