Brewery Offers Hotel Guests An Immersive Beer-Inspired Stay

BrewDog outfitted its Doghouse hotel with 32 beer-focused and amenity-rich rooms on the same property as its brewery, offering guests a brand-themed stay

When beer lovers visit their favorite breweries, they often say they never want to leave. Ohio and Scotland-based brewery BrewDog has decided to give its consumers the opportunity to engage with the brand in a new way by opening the world’s first beer-centric hotel next to its brewery in Columbus.

The hotel features 32 rooms and each of them is fully dedicated to the enjoyment of beer. The rooms include a fully stocked beer fridge, an in-suite bathroom with built-in shower fridge and even beer taps with a personal keg bar that are activated upon guests’ purchase of a growler of their favorite spirit.

Additional amenities include a lounge area with ping pong tables and televisions. Vacationers can also spend parts of the day watching the craft beer makers at work. James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog, feels that the location has plenty to offer its visitors, calling the hotel “a beer utopia we never thought possible.” The hotel is now open for business and the company will be opening a second hotel in Ellon, Scotland sometime in the next year.
