Travelers Can Book Brewery’s Waterfall-Powered Pub On Airbnb
Bringing beer to the great outdoors, Carlsberg is expanding its brand experience in the form of a sustainable woodland overnight pub, aiming to offer guests a unique and peaceful stay
Global brewery Carlsberg is offering a sustainable Airbnb location to help people escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Called the Carlsberg Cabin, the overnight accommodation and pub is located in an old quarry and sources its energy from a waterfall.
The cabin is part of the brewery’s new project called “Build the Danish Way.” The initiative involved six strangers collaborating to build the sustainable hydro-powered pub house that is now available for rent on Airbnb. The location is advertised as an immersive outdoor experience, owing to the fact that most of the pub consists of an open floor plan.
The goal of the Carlsberg Cabin is to allow fans of the brewery and the outdoors a chance to experience the brand in a unique, engaging way. Carlsberg aims to tap into not only consumer desire for peaceful respite but also niche travel experiences.
