Clinch is teaming up with brands like travel company Despegar to produce engaging Instagram videos with embedded call-to-actions and location-dependent messaging

While Facebook has long been an important tool for companies to market to their customers, now brands are turning to Instagram to raise their recognition and increase engagement. Clinch is a technology company that wants to help brands do so, assisting them in designing personalized advertising to drive sales.

To show how the personalized Instagram stories can perform, Clinch points to the work the company accomplished with Latin travel company Despegar. While the latter was already using Instagram stories to market its services, the dynamic ads that were created by Clinch showed 6x the result of the original ads. Andres Petteta of Despegar says, “With Clinch, we are able to leverage our first-party data to engage with those that just booked a trip, as well as encourage travelers who hadn't booked in a while to reengage with our platform.”

While the company recently ran a successful campaign for Facebook, currently Clinch specifically focuses on creating eye-catching Instagram stories. According to CEO Oz Etzioni, “Unlike other social products, Instagram Stories provide a native content opportunity for consumers to connect with brands and discover products and services. Clinch enables brands and agencies to shift from just focusing on reach and awareness to performance.”
