Knorr is celebrating National Farmers Market Week by delivering free meal kits that feature fresh, local meat and produce

While home meal kits have become very popular in recent years, some consumers still prefer to cook with fresh produce from a local farmers market. German food and beverage brand Knorr has teamed up with experiential company Fooji to celebrate National Farmers Market Week—and give Manhattan customers the best of both worlds—in the form of a mobile market that arrives at their doors.

From August 5 through 9,  hungry New Yorkers can get their hands on the food by directing a tweet to Knorr (@Knorr) with the hashtag #knorrtomydoor. Once they sign up, they'll be prompted to select from two of the brand's One Skillet Meals: Lemon Chicken with Barley or Rustic Italian White Beans with Farro.

With this initiative, Knorr is pairing the convenience of home meal kits with the health benefits and great taste of locally-grown produce. A mobile farmers market cart may not always be a feasible or practical option for dinner, but the activation is reinforcing Knorr's One Skillet Meals as a nutritious and fresh option for consumers.
