HotelTonight offers lower prices than its best rates in its Daily Drop app, a countdown-led booking deal that guests must unlock in a timely manner and find entertaining features like secret amenity searches

With so many hotel booking websites fighting for business, the competition can be fierce. While most services will tell users that they offer the best rates, HotelTonight‘s new Daily Drop app has invented a way to make the reservation process engaging and interactive.

The Daily Drop game offers prices that are up to 30% lower than the site's normal rates. The catch of the game is that once the user agrees to the price, they only have 30 minutes to book the room. The deal does not have to be made for that night, allowing potential guests to book the rooms up to 100 days before their stay.

Unlike some booking sites, the app also reveals the name of the hotel the deal is connected with. Company CEO Sam Shank says of the service, “This is the same discount than you'd find in normal opaque deals, but you know what you're getting into,” offering not only affordable prices and gamified booking, but also added transparency.
