Lidl Ireland and the National Centre for Youth Mental Health are teaming up with an awareness-raising baked goods drive to provide mental health support for the community while collecting funds for the foundation in the process

Lidl Ireland, the superstore giant, is turning its attention to a good cause with a new pop-up bakery focused on mental health awareness. The Bakery was created by the retailer’ partnership with the National Centre for Youth Mental Health’s program, Jigsaw, and will host activities designed to maintain mental health.

The Bakery will be traveling around the isle, stopping in Dublin, Limerick and Cork over a span of four weeks. In tandem with The Bakery’s proceeds going to Jigsaw, Lidl Ireland will also be donating 1c of all bakery items bought at one of its 156 locations to the foundation as well.

The partnership between Lidl Ireland’s latest pop-up and the mental health foundation is part charity and part awareness for Jigsaw’s #OneGoodAdult, which encourages young people to confide in one adult in their lives during trying times. The collaboration boasts a relaxed and safe environment where people can go to discuss their own mental health as well as get advice and share experiences all while enjoying a sweet treat and giving back to a wonderful cause.
