The vodka brand's podcast will feature interviews with up-and-coming hip-hop artists, as well as cocktail recipes that can be made with the spirit

Podcasts have become a phenomenon and retailers are now using them to promote their products. As part of its Pour Out Your Soul campaign, New Amsterdam Vodka has recently announced its first branded podcast, which will be made in collaboration with Spotify.

The Ebb & Flow podcast will be hosted by New Amsterdam’s brand ambassador Jasmine Solano, who will have conversations with today’s popular hip-hop artist. Featured guests will include Skizzy Mars, Saweetie and Bryce Vine. The end of each podcast will feature drink recipes that can be made with New Amsterdam Vodka.

This is the first venture into branded podcasts for both companies. Spotify Global Director of creative solutions says, “Just as we do with music, we see podcasts as another avenue to connect our advertising partners with audiences and, through our deep understanding of our users, help brands show up in the right way.”

The first episode of the Ebb & Flow podcast premiered yesterday.
