Fans of Nickelodeon's Double Dare can play at home thanks to integration with the chat service

Facebook Messenger is teaming up with Nickelodeon to bring Double Dare straight to players' inboxes. The network's classic and recently revamped game show can now be played online via Facebook Messenger—all it takes is a quick search in the app.

Designed as a two-player game, Double Dare allows players to answer questions on a number of topics and challenge friends and strangers alike on Messenger to test their knowledge. Messenger’s Double Dare also offers players with a physical challenge an in-game leader board to keep tabs on their and their friends' games.

Double Dare was a huge hit after its debut in the late 1980s and Nickelodeon fans were thrilled to see the trivia game show come back earlier this summer. Facebook is aiming to bring the game into the lives of more viewers, making it more accessible than ever, while Nickelodeon hopes to extend its brand reach.
