Fans of the drink brand can visit sorry.powerade.com and choose from a selection of various humorous sports-based sympathy cards that aren't quite so sympathetic

With nearly all of today’s communication taking place over email or text, some long for the days of receiving correspondence in the mail. Recently-launched sympathy cards from Powerade, however, aim to offer consumers an alternative to a more traditional written message.

In conjunction with its new ad campaign, Powerade is allowing sports fans of its beverages to send their friends and opponents humorous, teasing cards in the mail. The messages include trash-talking phrases like, “I’m sorry I scored so many goals on you like that. I hope it doesn’t affect our friendship,” or, “So sorry you were unable to tackle me the other day. I hope you can learn to forgive yourself.”
