The two airlines collaborated on the design of a one-of-a-kind pop-up activation that celebrates the U.S. cities their combined flights service

Configuring which airlines service your desired destination can be complicated, but Virgin Atlantic and Delta are teaming up to make it as easy as going to a pub. The two airliners teamed up to create a pop-up pub in London called The Joint Venture that serves 230 beers, one for each of the cities the airlines fly to in the United States.

Open from August 10-19, the ephemeral pub will include brews like Cigar City Brewing’s Jai Alai IPA representing Tampa, Ruben’s Pilsner for Seattle, Crosstown Brewing Company’s Siren Blonde for Memphis and Sweet Water Brewery’s 420 Extra Pale Ale representing Atlanta. The pints will only cost about $5 but customers will also have to participate in some pub trivia games.

Each night of the pub’s duration will have specific city themes, featuring the music and popular cuisines of each metropolis. The goal of the pop-up is to engage with potential customers while also highlighting the many travel destinations available from both airlines.
