Avis customers can sign up to be driven from the rental car lot directly to their terminal, aiming to save them time and complication

While renting a car can help vacationers and people traveling for business get around, eventually customers must return the car to the rental agency. If the traveler has a large amount of luggage or children with them, getting back to the airport terminal can be a hassle. Avis aims to solve this problem with its new Curbside Delivery service.

The service starts at $25 and can be added on via the app. According to Joe Ferraro from the Avis Budget Group, “We’ve all been in that situation where we’re running late for a flight or have a juggling act when returning a rental car with luggage, golf clubs and kids. The new service shaves time off your trip and extends you the convenience of being dropped off right at the airport terminal.”

Overall, the service hopes to provide invaluable peace of mind for harried flyers. The service is now available at 35 Avis lots with plans to add more locations throughout the next year.
