In a bid to appeal to health-conscious demographics, Covent Garden's Avobar offers guests an all-avocado menu alongside thematic décor and products like skin creams derived from the fruit

Millennials’ love for avocados is well known. Accordingly, Avobar, a recently opened restaurant in London, is targeting this health-focused customer base with a restaurant that celebrates avocados in all elements, from its menu to the décor.

The space was designed in conjunction with DesignLSM to ensure a look that eaters would want to photograph and post on social media. The design is meant to be warm and and help guests feel in connection with nature, as “the central service counter, entirely clad in avocado-hued handmade tiles, is adorned with sumptuous fresh produce framed by a rustic draped gantry formed from peeled timber branches.”

The menu, of course, is avocado focused, with all meals featuring some element of the fruit. Consumers can also shop for avocado-based products such as cooking oil and skincare products. Avobar is now open in London’s Convent Garden.
