The vehicle, which contains a fully-functional diner and was previous deployed during California wildfires, serves free food to the victims of natural disasters

When natural disasters hit, companies often reach out to help—Anheuser Busch offered drinking water, while Lowe’s employees helped with cleanup efforts. Restaurant chain Denny’s announced its method of providing relief, taking the form of a new Mobile Relief Diner that will be deployed in North Carolina.

The mobile diner had a successful initial test run aiding the people affected by Northern California wildfires. The incredible vehicle is a fully-functional diner on wheels that was designed by the restaurant chain to travel to anywhere in the U.S. during emergency situations like natural disasters. The diner provides all meals free of charge.

Giving back to the communities that sustain it is an important goal of Denny’s charitable arm. The relief vehicle is currently in North Carolina and updates can be followed on Twitter @DennysMRD.
