Hy-Vee is building out its in-store HealthMarket into an immersive space of its own, aiming to complement its food offerings with an all-encompassing location offering visitors a fitness center, dietician guidance, a pharmacy and more

Health-focused grocer Hy-Vee is expanding its in-store fitness and healthy-living outpost HealthMarket into a stand-alone concept store of its own. The new space is located in De Moines, Iowa and will offer the same food-related items like fresh produce and nutritional supplements as the brand's normal stores alongside immersive and comprehensive health-promoting services.

The HealthMarket store spans 15,700 square feet, and includes a pharmacy, clinic and even a sports nutrition center, called Orangetheory Fitness. Perhaps the most immersive part of the HealthMarket shopping experience, the store will also offer dietician-guided tours that take place three times a week to help customers make the most of the store's products and services.

Even more, HealthMarket will accommodate its customers by encouraging them to stay hydrated and energized, serving them nitro cold-brewed coffee, kombucha and offering a Bevi infused-water machine. Overall, the immersive De Moines location aims to provide a comprehensive and engaging shopping experience for anyone interested in beginning and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
