The hotel is promoting its rewards program by encouraging members to create audition videos to become the company's NFL Global Correspondent for the current football season

While loyalty programs often offer perks like free hotel rooms, concert tickets or meals, it is not very often that they offer their members a job opportunity. Hotel Giant Marriott is doing just this, and offering not just any post: Looking to fill the position of Courtyard NFL Global Correspondent, the brand is offering the dream job to one of its Marriott Rewards loyalty program.

There are two prerequisites for the jobs: First, the applicant must be a member of the rewards program. Second, the candidate must submit a 60-second video explaining why he or she would be perfect for the job. The job also requires establishing a clear schedule, as whoever takes the position will travel to football stadiums in London, Mexico City, Minnesota and Atlanta throughout the football season, interviewing fans of different teams to generate unique stories around NFL fan passion.

As loyalty programs continue to grow in popularity, brands increasingly look for innovative ways to differentiate themselves—Marriott hopes to do so by capitalizing on the popularity of the NFL. Interested parties can submit their tryout videos here up until September 24.
