Nurx, a platform that offers telemedicine directly to its consumers, is expanding its offering from birth control to include a new at-home lab testing kit for patients seeking PrEP, a medication that helps keep HIV negative people from becoming infected.

The Silicon Valley telemedicine company built its reputation with aims to help women have easier access to affordable birth control, without the need for a doctor's visit, or insurance. Nurx partners up with real doctors in each state, who review the case and write up prescriptions, before the service then delivers kits and birth control to patients' homes.
