In honor of National Family Meals Month, ShopRite launched a campaign to help families eat better together, offering in-store demos, events and pre-assembled meal kits

Creating nutritious, balanced family meals can be difficult on a budget, and even more so when grocery shoppers aren't sure which foods help support healthy habits. Grocery store chain ShopRite is looking to help customers by offering pre-made meal kits and in-store education on making better food decisions.

Throughout the month of September, in honor of National Family Meals Month, ShopRite stores will give out free cookbooks, and will hold free food demonstrations, classes and events headed by dietitians. The campaign also features $11.99 meal kits that are easy ways to prep a family meal.

“Providing our shoppers with healthy, affordable and time-saving resources has always been a priority at ShopRite,” said Natalie Menza-Crowe, Shoprite's Director of Health and Wellness. “We look forward to talking to our customers about the many benefits of sharing nutritious family meals.”
