As technology continues to impact how people shop, manufacturers increasingly look for ways to use data to drive sales. Style discovery platform Shoptelligence wants to help retailers in the apparel and furniture verticals better understand consumer preferences with its AI-enabled tracking software, Interactive Ensembles.

The software is currently being piloted in retail locations and the early returns have been promising. The program is able to save previous customer purchases and use this data to make recommendations for future orders. Ivan Frank, the VP of Center Marketing at Taubman, explains, “The software designed by Shoptelligence allows our shoppers to discover new brands, reserve merchandise and create favorite looks all through a seamless customer-centric shopping experience.”

One of the major hurdles for any retailer is turning customer interest into a sale. Accordingly, this program aims to help retailers better target and educate consumers to help drive them down the purchase path. Interactive Ensembles is still in the pilot stage.
