Verizon Customers Can Embark On An AR Scavenger Hunt To Win An iPhone XS
Using Snapchat as its platform, Verizon is giving away the latest iPhone to customers who enter an augmented reality scavenger hunt, searching for hidden music loops and remixing them to create a winning track
Verizon Wireless is offering customers a more experiential way of getting their hands on an iPhone XS. Instead of camping out at their local Verizon or Apple Store, Verizon customers can participate in the company’s augmented reality-fueled scavenger hunt run through Snapchat.
Beginning Friday, September 21 and running until Monday September 24, Verizon customers in the U.S. need only scan a Snapchat barcode provided by the tech company and start searching for the hidden music loops, which were created by DJ and producer Squeak E Clean and include tracks from SZA and Daya and Borns. The loops are visual representations of the music and players need to find three loops and one Super Loop to complete the challenge of creating a unique mix.
After players have found the required loops, the next step is to arrange them into a new mix and submit the finished product to the contest. Verizon will award 150 of the best mixes with iPhone XS.
