Barneys Offers New York Shoppers Rotating Indie Beauty Brand Selection

The high-end retailer will feature over a dozen different beauty products for all ages and gender identities, helping to encourage store traffic as well as stay ahead of the curve by showcasing emerging brands

New York-based department store Barneys is establishing a rotating pop-up shop experience in its beauty department to spotlight independent cosmetics lines. Starting in early October and running into the new year, the retailer’s Madison Avenue location will be making room for a wide collection of new makeup, skin and haircare products on its shelves and counters.

The pop-up collections will allow the retailer to better showcase the latest beauty trends, with products available for a limited time on the Barneys beauty floor. The selections will feature cosmetics and fragrances for everyone: the women’s section will feature samples from such brands as Loli, Soohyang, Epara and liuvo while the men’s department will carry products from The Grey, Bolin Webb, Sa.Al & Co. and Menaji.

Barneys hopes that offering these ephemeral types of selections will encourage shopper visits by providing ever-new and on-trend products, as well as keep its store on the forefront of the beauty industry with fresh and emerging brands.
