Dove And Dunkin’ Donuts Celebrate Modern Women In Joint Campaign

In an unusual partnership aimed at widening their respective consumer bases, the beauty brand and coffee mainstay created a campaign celebrating busy women's use of their dry shampoo and beverages, respectively

At first glance, dry shampoo and coffee may seem like unlikely contenders for a collaboration. However, women around the world frequently rely on the two during their morning routines as they prepare for their day, which is what beauty brand Dove and coffee chain Dunkin Donuts are looking to celebrate this National Coffee Day, September 29.

The two companies are teaming up as DoveXDunkin to give away a year’s worth of free dry shampoo and coffee to contest winners. To enter, customers can post a photo to Instagram or Twitter about their busy morning and how they integrate the products into their routines, adding the hashtags #DoveXDunkin and #DxDSweepstakes.

The campaign runs through November 8 and plays off the Dunkin logo “American runs on Dunkin”. The collaboration will also be hosting a pop-up store on October 1 in New York City at the Flatiron Plaza. There, people can enjoy some free Dunkin’ coffee and enjoy a complementary mini-styling appointment.
