Eco-Luxe Brand Offers London Shoppers Ethics-Focused Concept Store

Adding to the growing market of “eco-luxe,” the Maiyet fashion brand that aims to provide ethical products of high-end quality is launching a part-time concept store called the Maiyet Collective. Through this store the brand hopes to foster community and spread its “beyond sustainable” message.
The collective will be opening in the heart of Mayfair, one of London’s most upscale districts, within The Conduit, a club with a mission for social change that brings together social entrepreneurs, investors, creatives, business leaders, policy-makers and more.
The concept store is slated to open this month, and will offer curated collections of positive-impact luxury brands, fine jewelry, beauty, home and lifestyle products, all of which will rotate on a monthly basis. It will also hold events including workshops, founder talks, book signings, exhibitions and curated panels in order to educate and expand its sustainability mission.
In addition, the space will feature a champagne bar and a cafe serving locally sourced food. The store will be open three days each month, although only two of those will be for the general public while Thursdays are reserved for The Conduit’s members.
Many of the brands featured don’t have a space of their own, and will benefit from the exposure that the rotating curation, as well as create limited-edition products for the collective to heighten its exclusive appeal.
