Northwest Motorsports and Joydrive have teamed up to offer a used car shopping experience from the comfort of the consumer's own home

While there is no shortage of things consumers can purchase online, buying a car has almost always necessitated a trip to the auto dealer. Northwest Motorsport and Joydrive have teamed up in an effort to make the entire car shopping process something that can be done at home.

When a customer buys a new car, there is quite a bit of paperwork to fill out. This service allows users to do that at home. There is also a delivery service so that when the purchase is complete, the car is brought straight to the customer’s home. Finally, there is a 5-day window in which the car can be returned.

The founders were inspired by the ease of online shopping. Joydrive CEO Hunter Gorham says, “How special would it be to be able to buy a car like we use Netflix, from your home, from your bed, delivered to you?”

For now, the service is only available in the greater-Seattle area. However, with the convenience this program offers, and should it be a success, it could expand to other cities soon.
