Uber Radio Live is a three-day concert that will highlight the music of Austin's Uber drivers, part of the brand's overarching efforts to better its company culture and support its employees, while also providing its customers with interactive entertainment

Ride-sharing giant Uber is creating a music festival as a tribute to its driver’s talents and as a way to give the audience an interactive concert experience. From October 5-7 the musicians who moonlight as Uber drivers will be invited to play their own music for a crowd of people at Uber Radio Live.

The stage at the three-day festival is fully interactive and designed to mimic a giant car radio. Along with hearing live original music, concert goers have the option to create their own playlists for a cover band also performing in-between sets at the venue.

Recently, Uber has been making a push toward shareable music to make it easier to connect with people during their rides. By creating Uber Radio Live, Uber is hoping to not only enable an entertaining brand activation, but also support the diverse talents of its drivers, part of an ongoing effort of the rideshare company.
