Aiming to drive engagement with its primarily online presence, the home wares retailer is launching its own loyalty program with perks like no-minimum free shipping and affiliate benefits

Online furniture and home goods retailer Wayfair is establishing its own rewards system called MyWay in the United States and Canada. Members will be given various benefits at Wayfair and several of its affiliates like Joss & Main, AllModern and Birch Lanes, a value-driving and engagement-enhancing tactic like those listed in PSFK’s recent Future of Retail 2019 report.

The reward membership requires a $29.99 annual fee for those in North America and slightly different rates and benefits for Canadian members. The benefits for a MyWay membership include next-day delivery, discounted service fees and no-minimum free shipping.

As many retailers currently look to creating or redesigning membership programs to better serve consumers, Wayfair hopes that offering a rewards program will drive engagement with as well as incentivize new customers to join its primarily online presence.
