Alaska Airlines Offers Coworking Benefits To Business Travelers
Aiming to facilitate working while traveling, Alaskan Air elite members will receive access to co-working spaces from The Riveter, whose members will have access to Alaskan Air's lounges
Business travelers often search for quiet places to work when on the road. Catering to this demographic, Alaskan Airlines recently announced a partnership with co-working space The Riveter to offer benefits to those who wish to work better while on the go.
Members of either Alaskan Airlines or The Riveter will be able to access the rewards programs from both companies. Alaskan Air elite mileage members will receive day passes to The Riveter and The Riveter members will have access to Alaskan Air lounges. Karen Wilkins-Mickey, Alaskan Airlines director of diversity, says, “Our collaboration with The Riveter makes perfect sense, as we’re aligned with its mission to provide business workspaces and resources for all with an emphasis on inclusion.”
In honor of the collaboration, the two companies are dubbing the air carrier “The Official Airline of the Future of Work.” The partnership will begin in 2019.
