New York Diners Can Eat 99¢ Knish At Amazon’s Carnegie Deli Popup

The immersive popup in promotion of the etailer's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel takes visitors back to the 1950s with retro designs and all fare under 99 cents

The march of progress often leaves some of the most beloved institutions in the dust, like the world-famous Carnegie Deli in New York City. But now Amazon is bringing it back as a popup to help generate excitement around the second season of its Emmy-winning show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Open now in New York City, The Home of the Maisel popup is an immersive experience meant to replicate the feel of the 1950s, the era in which the show takes place. And along with the atmosphere, the menu will feature food at 1950s prices. All food, from knishes to cookies to sandwiches, will all be 99 cents or less.

The popup is taking reservations for parties of four or less, though there are walk-in tables available for those looking to stop in. All proceeds from the revitalized deli will be going to The Lower East Side Girls Club, an organization that helps promote health, wellness, and success for young women.
